Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist
I have a BA (Hons) in Psychology and a clinical MA in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Dublin Business School of Arts. I hold memberships with the National Association for Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy (NAPCP), the Kleinian Association of Ireland (KAI), and am a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). I have also obtained certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindful Living. Additionally, I currently volunteer with AWARE as a life skills supporter.
My qualifications and training as a psychotherapist have provided me with the skills to engage and build relationships with individuals in need of psychological support. I have experience working therapeutically within the HSE primary care mental health services, and have also worked with adults within a community-based project for individuals in recovery from substance use, in which psychological, physical wellbeing and personal development are included in the long-term strategies of the programme.
Why Therapy?

Healing through understanding
Therapy provides an open space for a deep and broad exploration into the course and meaning of one’s life – it is about new choices and insights. The therapeutic relationship is the agent of change. Helping individuals to understand themselves better, and showing them how to ask the right questions, facilitates change. Thereby this in-depth approach incorporates the treatment of the individual behind the symptom, so that they do not have to carry the burden alone.
“The most complicated achievements of thought are possible without the assistance of consciousness”
